Badminton Holiday Camp For Kids: Dates, Fees And Tips

The school year ends on 20 November 2026, and the year-end break runs from 21 November to 31 December, according to the MOE school calendar. That is six weeks to fill. A badminton holiday camp gives children a steady morning routine, friends at their own level and a sport they can keep playing once school starts again.

A good badminton holiday camp runs focused two-hour sessions on consecutive days, groups children by level and starts with grip, footwork and serving. Our December camp runs from 10am to 12pm at Wyse Active Hub, near Jurong East MRT, in four three-day slots between 2 and 23 December. One slot costs $210, or $190 at the early bird rate for registrations before 15 November.

Three mornings in a row build skills faster than three weekly lessons spread across a month. Each session picks up where the last one ended, so the grip learned on Monday is still fresh on Tuesday and ready to build on by Wednesday.
A camp also brings company. Many children take to a racket more readily alongside others who are learning too, and the short games at the end of each morning give them something to look forward to every day.
Session length comes first. Two hours suits most children: enough time for a warm-up, two or three skill blocks, a game and a cool-down, while energy stays high from start to finish.
Ask how players are grouped. Beginners learn fastest beside other beginners, and a child who already plays gains more from drills set at their own pace.
Look at the venue. An air-conditioned hall keeps December mornings comfortable, and a venue close to an MRT station keeps the daily drop-off simple for parents.

The best camps begin with the basics: how to hold the racket, how to move to the shuttle and how to serve. These three habits shape every shot that follows, and they are far easier to learn well at the start than to correct later.
Our guide on how to hold a badminton racket explains why the grip comes first, and our guide to badminton training for beginners sets out the order the other skills follow.
The camp is held at Wyse Active Hub, 1 Venture Avenue, #03-01 Perennial Business City, Singapore 608521, about a five-minute walk from Jurong East MRT. The hall has 32 air-conditioned courts built to BWF international specifications.
Every session runs from 10am to 12pm, which leaves the afternoon free for family plans, tuition or rest.

The camp runs in four three-day slots. Slot A is 2 to 4 December, Slot B is 7 to 9 December, Slot C is 16 to 18 December and Slot D is 21 to 23 December.
Your child can join one slot, or combine several for a longer block of training across the holidays.
One slot of three days costs $210, or $190 at the early bird rate. Two slots (six days) cost $396, or $356 early bird. Three slots (nine days) cost $558, or $498 early bird. The full camp of four slots (12 days) costs $696, or $616 early bird.
The early bird rate saves $20 per slot for registrations made before 15 November.
The camp welcomes children picking up a racket for the first time as well as those who already play and want to sharpen their game. Coaches group players by level, so each child works on the skills that suit them.
Many families carry the December momentum into the new school year. Our kids badminton lessons and group badminton lessons continue the same skills week by week, and families in the west can find regular sessions on our badminton lessons in Jurong East page.
Register through the camp sign-up form. Places are limited, so booking early also secures the early bird rate. For any questions about the camp, WhatsApp us at 9684 2263.
