Clementi Sport Centre Badminton: 3 Halls On One Road

Clementi Sport Centre is at 518 Clementi Avenue 3, Singapore 129907, and its sport hall is open daily from 7am to 10pm. It is not the only badminton hall on that road.
ActiveSG lists three badminton facilities in Clementi, and all three sit on Clementi Avenue 3 within a few hundred metres of each other. No other estate on the island is served like this.
Badminton at Clementi Sport Centre is played in Clementi Sport Hall at 518 Clementi Avenue 3, open daily from 7am to 10pm. Two school halls on the same road, at numbers 8 and 10, open at weekends and take the overflow. Courts at all three are booked through ActiveSG in advance.

Three badminton venues in Clementi are booked through ActiveSG.
Clementi Sport Hall, the hall inside Clementi Sport Centre at 518 Clementi Avenue 3, is the full-time one, open daily 7am to 10pm. Clementi Primary School Hall at 8 Clementi Avenue 3 and Clementi Town Secondary School Hall at 10 Clementi Avenue 3 are school halls, both open Saturday 3pm to 9pm and Sunday 9am to 9pm only.
In most estates a Saturday afternoon booking is a lottery, because one hall serves everybody. Around Clementi Sport Centre the weekend capacity roughly triples, so a slot that would be gone by Monday elsewhere is often still there on Thursday.
Weekdays are a different matter. Only the hall at Clementi Sport Centre opens midweek, so the 7pm to 9pm window carries the whole estate on its own and needs booking as far ahead as anywhere else.

Courts at Clementi Sport Centre are booked through ActiveSG, in the app or on the website, not at the door. The same account and the same system cover the two school halls.
Book a week or more ahead for a weekday evening. For weekends, check all three before giving up on the time you wanted, because they are close enough that the walk between them is shorter than most people’s trip to the estate.
You have four halls within one postcode. Our badminton lessons in Clementi page covers coaching in the estate itself.

Ulu Pandan, Sunset Way, West Coast and parts of Jurong East all use it. West Coast students in particular train here rather than closer to home, because nothing closer offers three halls.
This is where Clementi is strongest. Two school halls open Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday on top of the full-time hall, and our weekend badminton classes are easier to schedule here than at a single-hall town.
The site at Clementi Sport Centre also holds an ActiveSG gym and a swimming complex, each a separate facility with its own hours and its own entry arrangements.
They share the approach and the car park, so a busy swimming weekend slows the trip even though the hall itself is unaffected.
Clementi Sport Centre sits on Clementi Avenue 3, a short distance from the town centre and the MRT rather than beside it. Check the walk from the station against a bus route before assuming the train is quickest.
If you are booked into one of the school halls instead, confirm the street number. Numbers 8, 10 and 518 are all on the same road and the difference matters when your court is already running.
We coach at suitable public halls across the island, and Clementi is one of the easier estates to schedule in because three halls give the week some slack. A weekend session is straightforward to hold, and a weekday evening one is possible with enough notice.
Tell us the days you can reliably make before anything else. In most areas the hall decides the timing; here you have more room than usual, which is why students who move estates often keep travelling back.
Which format suits you is a separate question from which hall you use, and our badminton classes page compares all nine side by side.
Because Clementi Sport Centre and its two neighbours cover both midweek and weekend, this is one of the few estates where a student can genuinely play twice a week without a long trip.
That changes what improves fastest. Reaction and timing respond to volume more than to instruction, and our guide on how to improve hand eye coordination for badminton covers what is worth doing with the extra court time.
Confirm which of the three halls your booking is for, check it is showing in the ActiveSG app, and look for maintenance notices. School halls close at shorter notice than full-time centres, because the school’s own use comes first.
Bring indoor court shoes with non-marking soles. All three halls take that seriously and it is the most common reason a player is turned away at the door.
If you have never been coached and want to see what it is like before committing to a term, a badminton trial class is a single hour with nothing attached.
It also tells you which of the three halls suits your week, which is a real choice here rather than the single option most estates offer.
Tell us who is playing, their age and rough experience, and the days and times you can genuinely commit to. We will confirm what is bookable across the three halls and which one fits your schedule best.
We would rather place you at a hall you will keep attending than at the one nearest your flat. In Clementi those are usually the same few hundred metres, which is part of why students here stay longer than average.
