Fernvale Badminton Court Lessons: Fernvale CC Or Village

Fernvale badminton court lessons give families in Sengkang a choice of two venues: the community club at Fernvale CC and the dedicated hall at Fernvale Village. This guide compares the two, explains how each court is booked, and shows how our coaches help you start lessons at the one that suits you.

We run badminton lessons at both Fernvale CC, 21 Sengkang West Avenue, and Fernvale Village, 61 Fernvale Link. You pick the venue you prefer. Each venue charges its own court booking fee, and we can help you book the court. Lessons start from as early as 8am every day, with 2 hours as the standard session.

Fernvale Community Club sits at 21 Sengkang West Avenue, in the heart of the Fernvale estate. Its onePA page gives the address and contact details for the club, which the People’s Association runs.
A community club court suits players who like a neighbourhood setting close to their block, with lessons held right in the estate.
Fernvale Village at 61 Fernvale Link describes itself as Singapore’s first badminton village. It has a climate-controlled badminton hall, along with a gym, dining outlets and shops selling badminton gear.
The hall suits players who want a cooler court and everything they need in one building. You can grab a meal or pick up new grips after your session.

Both venues work well for lessons, so the choice comes down to your preference and budget. Each charges its own court booking fee, and the fee differs between the community club and the private hall.
Tell us which venue you prefer when you enquire. If you are unsure, we can talk you through the difference, and you can switch venues later if your plans change.
You can book the court yourself or leave it to us. Fernvale Village takes bookings through its own website, and community club courts are booked on onePA, as our badminton court booking guide explains.
When you contact us, we first look at our current schedule for a class that matches your level and time. If you need your own slot instead, we help you book a court at the venue you chose.

Children start with the grip, a ready stance and footwork, then move on to the serve and simple rallies. Our kids badminton lessons keep every session lively, with plenty of time hitting the shuttle.
Lessons run on weekdays and weekends, so you can fit them around school and tuition. A Fernvale badminton court close to home also makes the trip easy for parents.
Adults join us to get fit, learn the game properly, or keep up with friends who play. Our adult badminton lessons cover grip, footwork and the serve before moving on to clears, drops and net shots.
Our team of professional and qualified coaches adjusts the pace to each player. Beginners and returning players are both welcome.
Private badminton lessons give you a coach’s full attention, which helps you fix habits quickly. Pair lessons let two players share a coach, which suits friends, couples and parents with a child.
Group classes put you on court with other players at a similar level, which keeps sessions social and lively.
A standard session lasts 2 hours. It begins with a warm-up and footwork, then moves to stroke practice with the coach feeding the shuttle and correcting your form.
The final part is game play. Our coaches call out the score and explain the rules, so you learn to play a proper game as your strokes improve.
Our page on badminton lessons in Sengkang covers the wider town. We also run classes at ActiveSG sport halls and other community club halls across Singapore.
WhatsApp us with your age or your child’s age, playing level, preferred time and preferred venue, Fernvale CC or Fernvale Village. We will reply with a class you can join or a court we can help you book.

Yes. You can begin at Fernvale CC and move to Fernvale Village later, or the other way round. Just let us know, and we will arrange the next lessons at the venue you now prefer.
Fernvale Village describes its badminton hall as climate-controlled, so the court stays comfortable through a 2-hour session. That suits players who prefer a cooler hall, especially on warm afternoons.
Yes. Besides Fernvale CC, our coaches teach at Eunos CC in the east, Yew Tee CC in the north-west and Thomson CC, so you can keep training if you move or work in another part of Singapore.
Lessons are led by our team of professional and qualified coaches. They are former competitive players with a combined coaching experience of close to 30 years, and they coach children and adults alike.
